If you are in Brownsville and have a tattoo idea, start with the information that affects the project most: the subject, body placement, approximate dimensions, preferred style, and any existing tattoos in the same area. Those details create a much clearer starting point than a short request such as asking how much a tattoo costs without describing it.
Bed-Stuy Tattoo features fineline, black and grey, portrait, color, and cover up tattooing, along with piercing. The planning considerations change depending on the service. A cover up has to respond to existing ink, a portrait depends on source material, and detailed fineline work has to be given enough space. The goal is to make those considerations clear before the project progresses.
We focus on the details that actually define the scope of the project rather than making assumptions from a short description.
Different forms of tattooing call for different choices in contrast, linework, color, reference quality, and scale.
Clients should be able to understand why a size or design adjustment is being discussed without needing specialist terminology.
Brownsville is part of the stated service area, but this content does not claim that a staffed public office is located in the neighborhood.
